Bench Mob FC found themselves without a bench for their match against Bink FC, with multiple playmakers not in attendance, the Mob found themselves only able to field 11 players. Bink FC would look at this as an opportunity to run their opponents into the ground, looking to hold possession and keep the Mob chasing the ball and the game. Bink FC would capitalize early on, scoring the opening goal in just 12 minutes. It's well-known one is most likely to make a mistake shortly after scoring and that's exactly what happened to Bink FC, just moments after taking the lead, Bink FC conceded in the 15th minute but would retake the lead just moments later and would end the half with a 2-1 lead.
Bench Mob came out of the break ready to go to war with their opponents regardless of the fact that they had zero subs. Knowing it was going to be a rough 45 minutes to end the game, the Mob allowed Bink FC to control the ball for long stretches to allow their midfielders extra time to catch their breath and get their second wind. That strategy would work out nicely for the Mob, converting 2 of their 3 chances in front of goal in the second half and keeping their defensive shape, the Mob were able to keep Bink FC from having any real opportunities in front of goal, this defensive performance along with their midfield dominance, the Mob were able to grind out an impressive come from behind win. Another great team effort from the Mob will be needed in their match next week against Heather's Hooligans and it will be an uphill battle for Bink FC who take on 1st place Sunday Georgie.
