It was the game of the week in the Cuarto division when Vidas and Spicy Boi FC met at Gratz Supersite. Vidas came into the game sitting at first while Spicy boi was third, only 2 points behind. The game was as competitive as we expected from these squads with neither team being able to control the rhythm for longer and with two of the best defensive lines in the division meeting each other, the first half ended with no goals and few clear chances. The intensity picked up in the second half and Vidas were first to find a goal. They did so through who else but #10 Barnes who found the back of the net in the 63rd minute. Spicy did not let their arms down and responded 10 minutes later with an equalizer from #22 Hamid. The game continued with both teams looking for a go-ahead goal but neither was able to find it as the contest ended in a tie.
The tie sees Spicy Boi FC remain in third place, next week they will be facing the always-dangerous FC Delta. For Vidas FC they now dropped to 2nd and will be playing against Spring Garden SC next week.
