It was a great game with many goals down at Bonner High School. Statesmen opened the scoring with a goal from #14 Pereira followed by #13 Allen to get themselves a two-goal lead. Dead Ball responded with a goal from #10 Staudenmayer to cut the lead and give themselves some hope going into halftime. The second half had a frantic start as each of the teams scored within the first 10 minutes to result in Statesmen keeping their one-goal lead. Dead Ball kept attacking until they found a game-tying goal in the 86th minute thanks to another Staudenmayer family member but when the team seemed to push even further to get a win they got sloppy at the back allowing Statesmen to regain the lead in the 88th minute which allowed no time for Dead Ball to tie the game once more. 

It's a heartbreaking loss for Dead Ball who now find themselves 5 points behind the last playoff spot with 3 games to go although two of those are against teams fighting to avoid relegation. As for Statesmen they currently sit in third place and their next game against Liberty City could be key for them to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
