It was another great outing for the darlings of Septima, everyone's fav team found their 3rd straight win but managed to lose their top spot in the standings to Trading Laces FC who is the only team to get the best of Sporting Serotonin so far this season. The opponents, Birdeaux FC were still reeling from their late-game collapse against Sanko United last week which included botching a 2-goal lead with just 15 minutes to play. There would be little to no mistakes made in the first half for Birdeaux FC who rode a 1-0 lead into halftime courtesy of a gorgeous goal from #21 Pitkow who looked unstoppable in the 1st half. Sporting would pull the game level in the 50th minute thanks to the hard work effort of #6 Viereck who not only scored the tying goal but also found himself disrupting Birdeaux FC attack by nearly a half dozen in the 2nd half alone.

 With the middle of the pitch being anchored by Pitkow, Birdeaux tried to rely on their speed down the wings to find the go-ahead goal, Birdeaux were unlucky on more than one occasion and really let an opportunity slip by them to retake the lead. Sporting was more mindful of their possession and found more than just the random half-chance their opponents were creating, with some really good ball movement out the back, Sporting put together a wonderful series of passes to spring #15, Steiger, free in open space behind the defense, once he collected the well-weighted pass he rifled a shot off to beat the keeper who managed to only get a fingertip on the ball as it flew by for the game-winning goal.
