Rapid FC haven't had much to celebrate about this season, having started their season with 3 straight losses, things looked like they were on the up and up when they got their first win 2 weeks ago, but it looks like their habit of losing close games is still proving to be a habit that is hard to break. Still Processing FC had their opportunity to take the lead in the first half with many half chances in Rapid's defensive half, the half would end tied 0-0 with Still Processing FC looking like a team destined to take the lead.
Still Processing finally took control and took the lead when #2 Rubio found space in the box and after some nifty footwork that left a Rapid defender on skates, calmly placed the ball just inside the post for the 1-0 lead. Rapid showed fight and looked to pull one back off a series of possessions that found them on the doorstep but never breaking through the defense of their opponent.
The game would be put out of reach in the 88th minute with another brilliant goal by #6 Stevenson who was celebrating his recent nomination for "Most Limber" in his local "Twister Lovers" Meetup group (don't forget to check in with Meetup for CASA run pick-up games!) giving his team just another reason to be jubilant when the final whistle blew. Rapid will need to get a result against the surging Bink FC if they look to salvage their season and playoff chances, Still Processing will get the week off and come back rested and ready to take on FC BTC in week 8.
