With both teams coming off convincing weeks the week prior, this matchup at Bristol promised to be entertaining and it did not disappoint. The Mighty Ducks opened the scoring first in this back-and-forth game. Their first came through #9 Blanchard midway through the first half. Sköge responded, scoring two goals courtesy of Aoyoma and Bonnete to come back and go into halftime with a one-goal lead. Sköge struggled a bit in the second half with the pace of the game, as they had no subs available. The Duck’s dangerous attack took advantage to put them in dangerous positions as #25 Torok tied the game for #9 Blanchard to score a few minutes later and put the flock ahead on the scoreboard. Sköge did not put their head down and somehow managed their energy to bring themselves back into the game with #15 Curl finding the back of the net late in the 77th minute to tie the game up. The teams continued to trade chances,  the closest one being for Sköge after one of their strikers placed a shot just wide near the end of the game. 

The Ducks will be sad to see this one get away as they now sit 3 points behind first-place DMA Young Boys who they will be facing next week in what may be the match of the week. For Sköge, they will need to win against Brothers of the Gourd in their next game if they want to get some separation in the race for the playoffs.
