Statesmen FC put an end to the Mighty Ducks’ awesome start of the season on Saturday at Northeast High School. Statesmen scored first with a goal from #23 Musa in the 29th minute of the game that would be the only goal of the first half. Statesmen found a second goal courtesy of #55 Bull early in the second half.

Mighty Ducks did not let their arms down and fought to get a goal back courtesy of #6 Green midway through the second half but then allowed Statesmen #8 Hamada to score his team’s third and destroy any hope of a comeback for the recently promoted squad. Mighty Ducks will now face Fortitude FC next week while Statesmen remain undefeated to start the season, at least until they play Bluestar Legends next weekend.
