The reigning Cuarto champions, the Mighty Ducks, started their fall campaign in Tercera against Bluestar Legends at Bryn Athyn College. The newcomers caught somewhat of a lucky break as an own goal saw them go ahead early in the first half. Bluestar responded with a goal from Ewurum in the 19th minute. The Ducks rose again as Blanchard scored a quick brace to give them a two-goal lead to close the half.

Bluestars had a quick start to the second half scoring early courtesy of Munsell but the Ducks managed to regroup themselves to hold off the attacks and even find another goal to extend their lead thanks to Wallace. Bluestar did not let their arms down and got another goal but were then unable to find an equalizer. The Ducks take the victory and the 3 points to begin their fall campaign and will look to build from it.
