It would take only 15 seconds for Trading Laces to convert and snag a very, very, very early 1-0 lead against PAKA FC. An intense press right from the opening kickoff and the ball was won high up the pitch. Midfielder #8 Cody Cao beat a defender, got to the endline, and played a ball across the face of goal that spun into the far post to start this match off with a bang! The fireworks appeared to be short lived as the division leaders were held scoreless for the rest of the 1st half.

The second half saw more pressure from Trading Laces kept mounting and they would finally get that 2nd goal, a goal that was a sight to behold, a half volley from 12 yds out by #10 Cauneac, a goal that could easily end up being the goal of the season for Trading Laces. PAKA FC found width and space down the wings but failed to get any dangerous balls played into the box, they would end the game without a single shot on goal and would concede another pair of goals to put them behind 4-0. The result is nothing new for Trading Laces, a team that has now won their 7th straight match while enjoying their 4th clean sheet in 5 weeks.

Trading Laces will need to have their defense ready to go next week as they face-off against Sanko United FC, a team that has scored the 2nd most goals this season and haven't dropped points since week 3. PAKA FC will find themselves in a battle against 2nd place Sporting Serotonin, a team that is defensively sound and offensively explosive, PAKA FC will need to look to catch them on the counter as they tend to be weaker in transition.
