FC BTC 1 - 1 Heathers Hooligans

With the playoffs approaching and points becoming harder to come by, both FC BTC and Heather's Hooligans need to step it up on the offensive side of the ball to ensure they have a fighting chance to be in the conversation for the promotional playoffs. Hooligans took the lead off a mix-up in the backfield that saw the goalie for FC BTC getting caught far off his line, trying to intercept a pass just outside the 18, he found himself in no man's land when he was rounded and chipped for the opening goal. Not one to let his mistakes haunt him, the FC BTC veteran bounced back and found himself playing the role of savior nearly a half dozen times to keep his team in the game.

If not for their keepers outstanding work after allowing the first goal, FC BTC could have found themselves behind 4 or 5 goals in the first half alone, Tim Wahl would further redeem himself when he smothered a low shot from just outside the 18 yd box, got up and punted the ball to a streaking Kravich who took a sensational first touch and ran full steam through the heart of the defense, cutting left and right before letting off an absolute stunner of a shot from 15yds out that left the Hooligan's keeper flatfooted as he could do nothing more than just watch the shot rip into the back of the net for the equalizer.

Both teams gave their all and left everything they had on the pitch but would settle for a hard-fought draw that does very little for either team in the standings. Hooligans go again next week against Guardians FC, a team that has been doing everything except guarding the goal from their opponents and FC BTC will tangle with the extremely dangerous Bench Mob FC who are looking to make a run for the top spot in Sexto, Sunday Georgie be damned.
