Bink FC 3 - 1 TBC FC

Another great performance from Bink FC ended the unbeaten streak of TBC FC and solidified the purple-clad playmakers at the top of the standings who are in a 3-way tie with 13pts, albeit in the lower end due to their goal differential. Bink FC started the game with a great goal off a long throw just 5 minutes into the first half, they would double their lead in the 19th minute when they converted their PK but would concede not long after to end the first half with a slim 2-1 lead.

TBC FC would find themselves in control of the midfield as Bink FC looked to conserve their lead and played more of a counter-attacking style and relinquished a good portion of possession. It would be this conservative tactic that would allow Bink to sit back and absorb the press from TBC FC, Bink FC would catch their opponents with too many numbers forward allowing #11 Murphy to find space in the box and convert off a beautiful cross sent in from the edge of the box to extend their lead.

TBC FC would fight back in the dying minutes of the match but were unable to convert on the few chances they had and were handed their first loss of the season. TBC FC will look to separate from the pack and take down the division leaders next week in their match against Sunday Georgie and Bink FC can keep pace with teams atop the standings with a win over the struggling Rapid FC.
