Bink stays perfect at Guardians expense

Guardians FC has had a tough go of it so far this season, with no wins and giving up an average of 5 goals a game, it was critical for them to get a positive outcome against 2nd place Bink FC. It would be the Guardians who jump out to a 1-0 lead in the early stages of the 1st half, they were calm on the ball, made smart tactical decisions in the midfield, and kept their opponent off the score sheet in the 1st half. The bubble would burst for the Guardians when a poor attempt of a clearance found its way to #14 Billie of Bink FC who scooped up the loose ball and drilled it in the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1 with loads of time remaining. Guardians fought after allowing the tying goal and would find themselves in the lead with a magnificent finish by Arroyo, the goal would be celebrated but the celebration would be short-lived, less than 2 minutes later, a cross was sent into the box and flicked into the goal for an own goal making the score 2 all with just over 15 minutes remaining.

The own goal completely killed the momentum the Guardians had and shortly after they allowed the tying goal it was clear their heads were no longer in it, both physically and mentally exhausted, it didn't take long for Bink FC to capitalize and get the go-ahead goal in the 80th min when D. Noon tripped over his own untied shoelace which caused him to fall face first towards the ground just as a cross was drilled into the box that then ricocheted off his face and into the back of the net to win the game for Bink FC who are now 3-0-0 on the season while Guardians FC are now 0-3-0 but are still confident they can turn their season around.
