Sexto has been put on notice once again, let it be known that FC BTC will score in bunches if you fail to contain their midfield movement. Guardians managed to keep the game close for the first 10 minutes with neither team really threatening in the final third. That all went out the window once FC BTC were able to take command of the midfield and found themselves in the driver's seat for the remainder of the match. Once FC BTC found their rhythm, the game opened up and with all that midfield dominance came an avalanche of goals to the tune of 4-0 at the half. 

The goals kept coming in the 2nd half with #78 Shultz and #33 Hany bagging a brace each. Hany's control of the ball helped steer his team towards a dominant week 1 win and a phenomenal job in net from #0 Tim Wahl secured the clean sheet, his first clean sheet in 11v11 play since first joining the league in 08'. The Guardians failed to get on the score sheet today but looked good on the ball when they had it and will make some adjustments on defense heading into week 2.
