Looking to kill 2 birds with one brick, Septima newcomers, Kicking Bricks FC, kicked off their fall season overpowering Birdeaux FC early and often with long balls and short passes through the center of the pitch finding their targets often and uncontested. Unable to fend off the pressure along with surrendering the midfield, Birdeaux FC found themselves flying all over the pitch, chasing the game and the ball. Kicking Bricks would strike first just before the half hour mark and then once again before the end of the first half to go into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

It would be a tale of two halves as Birdeaux FC came out energized, finding the gaps in their opponent's defense while being able to string some offensive chances of their own. With some small tweaks to their formation, the Birds were able to soar around the pitch, enjoying offensive possession that lasted longer than 2-3 passes. Even with all the newly found possession and ball movement, Birdeaux FC were unable to break through and find the equalizers, having to settle for a disappointing yet hard-fought 2-0 loss to start their season.
